27 April to 27 May 2012

Route PlannerMake Yourself at Home is a programme of five interwoven art interventions, exhibitions and performances taking place inside and out along Fore Street, Edmonton (A1010) .

A team of artists have been working with Artillery exploring the ways people create a sense of welcome in their own home.  Together with contributions from local creative people and residents of Enfield we extend the charm of that welcome to Fore Street’ public spaces, local businesses and street furniture whilst sharing stories of contemporary and historic homemaking.

Make Yourself at Home is a collaboration devised and led by Morag McGuire and Laura Kerry of Artillery in  partnership with five principle artists: visual artist Danny Coope, writer Penny Rutterford, textile artist Carolyn Abbott, writer and games designer Dave Dow and sculptor Esther Neslen.

The following creative projects interweave to create a season of home grown art; playfully installed in unexpected settings to surprise the passer-by and art lover.

We hope you enjoy the treasure hunt…
